Production takes place in the kitchen and basement of our house, with the help of our mother sewing the first units by hand. Each pair of Grips is unique, and quickly finds a response among hundreds of customers in Spain.
The volume of orders grows and the company needs to evolve. We acquire industrial machinery and move production from the family environment to a warehouse in Cintruénigo (Navarra).
The commitment to the online channel and social networks positions PICSIL as a leading brand in accessories for Cross Training in Spain.
International sales are activated, first on Amazon and then through new distributors, attending the vast majority of events related to crosstraining and fitness in Italy, France, UK, and Germany
International demand grows and facilities are expanded with a second warehouse, while the first is converted into a training box and product testing center.
The brand begins to export to key countries in Europe and consolidates as a technical reference for demanding athletes.
This year marks a profound change in the company's philosophy. The decision is made to completely eliminate the use of natural leather in the product catalog. Since then, all Grips are made with vegan and sustainable synthetic leather. Additionally, we replace all traditional plastics with recycled and responsible materials, both in products and packaging.
This transformation becomes a strategic axis, with the goal of building a brand committed to the planet and people's health.
America and the Middle East
In 2017, PICSIL takes a key step in its global strategy with the opening of its operational headquarters and warehouse in Miami, Florida (USA), with the aim of offering faster, more efficient, and competitive service to its customers in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
This implementation allows for reduced delivery times, optimized logistics costs, and improved shopping experience throughout the American continent. In parallel, commercial deployment begins in the Middle East, with presence through local distributors in the United Arab Emirates, strengthening the brand in a strategic and growing region within the functional sports sector.
