2012 CHALLENGE

It all begins in 2012 with a simple question: “Are you capable of creating some Grips for Cross Training?”

What starts as a personal challenge quickly transforms into a business idea.

Production takes place in the kitchen and basement of our home, with our mother hand-sewing the first units. Each pair of Grips is unique and quickly finds a response among hundreds of customers in Spain.

2014 GROWTH

The volume of orders grows and the company needs to evolve. We acquire industrial machinery and move production from the family setting to a warehouse in Cintruénigo (Navarra).

The commitment to the online channel and social media positions PICSIL as a leading brand in accessories for Cross Training in Spain.

  • International sales are activated, first on Amazon and then through new distributors, attending the vast majority of events related to crosstraining and fitness in Italy, France, UK, and Germany

  • International demand grows and facilities are expanded with a second warehouse, while the first is converted into a training box and product testing center.

    The brand begins to export to key countries in Europe and is consolidated as a technical reference for demanding athletes.

2016 SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT

This year marks a profound change in the company's philosophy. The decision is made to completely eliminate the use of natural leather in the product catalog. Since then, all Grips are made with vegan and sustainable synthetic leather. Additionally, we replace all traditional plastics with recycled and responsible materials, both in products and packaging.

This transformation becomes a strategic axis, with the aim of building a brand committed to the planet and people's health.

2017 INTERNATIONAL OPENING

America and the Middle East

In 2017, PICSIL takes a key step in its global strategy with the opening of its operational headquarters and warehouse in Miami, Florida (USA), aiming to offer faster, more efficient, and competitive service to its customers in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This establishment allows for reduced delivery times, optimized logistics costs, and improved shopping experience throughout the American continent. Simultaneously, commercial deployment begins in the Middle East, with presence through local distributors in the United Arab Emirates, strengthening the brand in a strategic and growing region within the functional sports sector.

2020 GLOBAL RECOGNITION

PICSIL becomes one of the most recognized brands in Europe in the field of Cross Training.

  • It participates in top-level international competitions and is one of the Navarre companies with the highest sales volume on Amazon.

  • The brand continues to support sports and athletes, adding several of the best athletes in the world to its ambassadors, reinforcing its positioning as a global leader in sports equipment.

2021 RESTRUCTURING AND INTERNATIONAL CONSOLIDATION

PICSIL becomes one of the most recognized brands in Europe in the field of Cross Training

  • After overcoming the effects of the global pandemic, in 2021 PICSIL initiates a deep organizational restructuring with the aim of preparing the company for the anticipated years of growth.

    The internal structure is redesigned, teams are professionalized, and key processes are optimized in the areas of product, logistics, marketing, and international expansion.

  • That same year, a new website is launched, designed to offer a better user experience and strengthen the PICSIL community globally.

    International presence is consolidated in more than 40 countries, with a network of over 400 distributors and active expansion into new markets such as Australia, Brazil, or the United Arab Emirates.

    The brand evolves towards a solid, scalable structure prepared to lead the functional sports sector globally.

2022 – 2023 GLOBAL LOGISTICS EFFICIENCY

An international distribution strategy is implemented that allows getting even closer to the end consumer.

Eight logistics centers are opened in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Spain, the Canary Islands, the United Kingdom, and Dubai. This logistics network allows for faster deliveries, without tariffs or additional costs, improving the shopping experience and eliminating barriers for the customer in each market.

2025 A NEW STAGE: KOMBAT AND PICSIL SHOWDOWN

  • In 2025, KOMBAT, the sub-brand specializing in clothing and equipment for contact sports like MMA, boxing, or jiu-jitsu, will be launched.

    This project is born with a vision of global growth, based on collaboration with federations, athletes, and sports organizations, with the aim of making these sports more accessible, safe, and visible.

  • That same year, the first edition of the PICSIL Showdown is held in Pamplona for contact sports like MMA, boxing, or jiu-jitsu.

    An event of its own that manages to bring together more than 1,200 athletes and over 4,500 attendees, becoming a European benchmark within functional sports.

    This meeting focuses on community, the promotion of sports, active living, and health, consolidating PICSIL's vision as an active agent in social transformation through sports.
